Why we made it

We are parents, and we wanted a different kind of app.

Most apps for children are built to hold attention. Loud sounds, streaks, endless rewards, one more tap. We went the other way on purpose. Funbow is calm, tasteful, genuinely fun, and sneakily educational. It never begs to be opened, and it is happy to be put down, like a good box of crayons.

One world for every age

Creativity has no age bands.

Every Funbow mascot is made of shapes any child can draw. Circles, triangles, blobs, and one brave squiggle. That is the point. We never lock, hide, or dumb anything down by age. A two year old and a nine year old meet the same friendly world. We guide, we never gate.

A few typed words become a brand new coloring page.

Your child whispers an idea to the app, and the painter gets to work. A new page appears, drawn in Funbow’s own hand, ready to color. Every page is checked to be safe for children before it is shown, and nothing about your child is collected along the way.
